Privacy and tranquility in this cheerful, very livable and comfortable two story beach house.
Situated on one of the most beautiful bays in this part of the Yucatan Peninsula, this “turnkey” beach home has been well maintained and reflects it’s location in the Caribbean with “palapa” roofing, brightly painted walls, beautiful Talavera tiling, locally made artwork and maximum use of exterior areas. Of additional interest is an outdoor kitchen and entertainment area with a built in table that will seat upwards of 10-12 people.
The two air conditioned bedrooms on the first floor, each with queen size bed and double futon share a beautifully tiled bathroom with double sinks. The stairs to the second story are exterior steps which lead to a long, cool and shady terrace running the length of the house with unobstructed views of the southern end of the bay and the point. The terrace has a tiled floor and a few hammock chairs in which to while away the hours. There are two en-suite bedrooms on the second floor, one with two queen size beds and the master bedroom with one queen. The garden is all natural landscaping with local tropical plants, lovingly tended by the owners who have also installed connections for a hose throughout the property for ease in watering.
Air conditioning in two of the bedrooms, full size kitchen and laundry appliances, ceiling fans throughout, huge wetlands, two cisterns each holding 10,000 liters of water, two outdoor bodegas for storage, one which holds the propane tank, separate laundry room, separate linen storage area on second floor, property extends out 6 meters on other side of road which may be cleared for additional parking, beautiful hand painted Mexican tiles, shaded terrace, double sinks in two of the bathrooms, a 40 meter long sea wall 3 meters deep running the length of the property, a large shady palapa on beach for hammocks and an outdoor shower decorated with coral rock.
