Location
Soliman Bay is located south of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Your escape to paradise is only an hour and a half drive from the Cancun airport. Playa del Carmen is a 30 minute drive north and Tulum is a 15 minute drive south.
Soliman Bay is approximately 2 km (1.2 miles) long with calm waves and white sand beaches. The source of the calm water is the coral reef offshore, which forces the waves to break there instead of on shore. The reef is about 300 meters offshore (perfect for snorkeling and kayaking) and part of the Meso American Reef System, the second longest reef system in the world.
Privacy and security are entrenched in Soliman Bay. The guarded gate screens visitors. Those on the list may access the sand beach road to the homes. The few privileged villas are on the left and the virgin jungle and wetlands are on the right. A cul-de-sac is at the end of the beach road. There is no through access. Traffic noise is non-existent. Security is maxed.
